DESIGN

Chamber
Prometco sterilizers utilize chambers made entirely of 316L stainless steel for durability. A solid plate door design ensures reliable and smooth door travel. Chamber doors are restrained around all four edges for added safety and security. Lubricant free door gaskets are standard.

Control Systems
The control system utilizes an industrial based PLC control system for validatable repeatability and reliability. Programmable parameters are password coded and stored in the PLC memory. User-friendly touch screen operation allows for safe selection of the desired cycle.

APPLICATIONS
The sterilizer can be equipped with the necessary hardware to sterilize a wide variety of loads. Cycles include:

General purpose gravity cycle
Efficiently sterilizes hard goods and vented liquids.

Vacuum Cycle
Allows removal of air from porous loads for better steam penetration.

Solution Cycle -  Air over pressure and jacket water cooling
Enables faster sterilization of solutions in sealed containers.  Cooling is aided by streaming air through the chamber while cooling the jacket with cooling water.

Rubber Stopper Cycle
Post vacuum is pulsed to remove moisture often trapped when sterilizing rubber stoppers.

ACCESSORIES

Loading Equipment
Chamber shelves, mobile carts, transfer trolleys, wire shelves and trays are available in standard or custom designs to meet all requirements.

Steam Generators
Integral electric steam generators are available when facility steam is not available. Clean steam generators powered by electricity or facility steam can be equipped to prevent contamination of vented liquids or tissue cultures when sterilized.
